Timothy had never touched a computer before coming to our Tech for Community training. Like many youth in his village, he assumed technology was only for people in the city.
But during his first session, he learned how to turn on a computer, use a keyboard, and set up an email address. He now attends regular digital literacy sessions at our community center.
Today, Timothy uses Google Classroom to take free courses, helps his younger sister type her homework, and plans to study computer repair.
“I thought computers weren’t for people like me,” he says. “Now I know they’re for everyone.”
Timothy’s story shows how bridging the digital divide can open real, life-changing doors.
